This poor woman. Hopefully it gets fixed because of this video. Imagining life is pretty hard with an arm like that.

My grandma (rip) had that. The (public-gov) hospital gave her a cast that only protected her below the elbow while leaving the broken area as it was. The cas t was heavy and its weight just pushed the arm away from its healing position so it healed the same as the nice old lady in the video. Her arm was perfectly usable as she would eat with that arm by simply resting her elbow on the table she was able to eat. Whenever she wanted to move her arm to another resting position she simply moved it with her other arm. I miss her so much and it makes me sad that no one on the famly actually caught that the cast was useless, she had it for so long.

I’d be worried about tissue damage and also damage to the nerves, arteries and veins by the ends of the bones

I wonder how long she's had to live with that. Even if the pain eventually went away, how she's holding it and favoring that arm makes me think it's probably useless for reaching or picking anything up.

Wow that’s crazy. 🤚 I know many don’t like diagnoses online but I broke my wrist specifically the radial head about 2 years ago. But it the past 6 months or so I have began having spasms where my hand will clinch up not al the time it comes and goes but as a musician it really can cause issues trying to play. If you could give any advice or help that would be greatly appreciated
