Dale, I'm a 25 y/o man in southeast Kansas, and I busted on my very first hunt in the turkey woods today. Thank you for this video. I'll be out there bright and early tomorrow morning. With lessons learned from mistakes today, and I'm gonna get that bird that flew off from me!

I was literally about to call it quits Tuesday evening, I was checking Wednesdays forecast on my phone in my blind when a tom came in without making a sound on a line to my Jake decoy. Tagged out and shot my first bird! Hunt all day if you can it definitely pays off!

Sure nuf! Was with a buddy, got too close on the roost, gobbler saw us, saw him fly down I knew where he'd end up, long hard walk, buddy called it quits, it took me til 10:15 but I got him.

I busted two stutters off a green field this Tuesday morning and gave up. I know now I should have worked around a logging road to get behind them and wait. I just gave in too soon 😢

I used to get down on myself too. Thing is, turkeys are born scared. They get spooked throughout the day by predators, hunters etc.. so keep yalls chin up..
