For by grace ye are saved, and not that of yourselves; it is a gift from God. And not of WORKS lest any should boast.
Faith without works may be dead, but apparently James is often used by the crowd who proclaim this ‘justification before men’ doctrine, to arrogate themselves over others by works.
Please don’t fall under the curse of The Law and try to please The Almighty by works/performance that then leads to self condemnation.
As I discovered, it leads only to fall after fall after fall, and it very finished me in my Walk. Until The Lord revealed Faith by grace alone. THEN you are equipped and led to the works that are pleasing to The Lord your God. 🙏
