People need to start realizing that pencils can be much more dangerous than many different types of knives. This is due to the ability to sharpen a pencil as sharp as a knife could be. And the fact that wooden pencils leave shrapnel (wooden bits) in the wound.
Meaning you’re likely to need surgery if the attacker decides to stab you in the forearm then snap the pencil on your bones.
Almost Happened to me before, luckily it hit my bone instead and didn’t go all the way through. All I needed was a xray and a few stitches plus bandages for a few weeks.
Edit is spell checks and autocorrect over correcting.
