He's becoming very popular because it's not just one song of the American people but it's many, and it's a story of the struggle , the trials, tribulations and Triumphs against Machiavellian forces. I think people perk up when they hear a song about current events and then they hear this and it resonates with the masses. Because Jesse is singing about how people feel deep down inside.
