Depends on how close the noise is and where you are standing or sitting, if you are standing near your car or the noise sounds pretty far away I'd say get in the car and leave but if the noise is close and you are inside then I would probably board up the window's and put large objects against the doors while everyone is standing in the same area weapons ready.
