OK. So clearly not all my shorts aren't as popular with you as they are with me! I'm not surprised and in fact what I expect. Different strokes for different folks is how this big ole world works. Be pretty boring if everyone liked the same tunes, right?

Moving on to today and again, this short features one of my faves (as most of these shorts are in fact...faves of mine) and Alice Cooper (the band) and their final release as a band. 1974's greatest hits and the track "Teenage Lament", which was actually released just the previous year in 1973 from Muscle Of Love. Coming less than a year after their biggest album, Billion Dollar Babies, and a massive tour to support the aforementioned (pretty tough act to follow!) this lp was actually pretty good imho. Nonetheless it is an album in which lead guitarist Glen Buxton did not even appear due to ongoing battles with substance abuse (and rumor has it many drum tracks were hired guns and not Neal Smith as well) though Buxton is credited with song writing and it wasn't known until years later he hadn't performed...management thought it would be poor publicity with fans. Though ultimately it wouldn't matter as they were imploding already and Alice would go solo after this album.
Anyway. A great track amongst many produced by Alice Cooper, the band. Hope you dig this one as much as I always have. Thanks again everybody for the support with watching, commenting and liking. Much appreciate you doing so. Enjoy the remainder of the week. See you on the next one. Take care.
