People hire you for what you're doing. And you are doing a great show. You are a great inspiration for other live-looping artists, guitar players and singers. There will be always somebody in the audience who don't like what you are doing. Every artist makes that same experience because there is no show in this world everybody likes. But why care about those people? They can leave your show anytime they want.

There is definitely a stigma with loop artists. At times, I've even had trouble booking gigs because of being a loop artist. I do see change here and there. A couple years back I had some folks come up to me at a festival gig and said they absolutely hated loop artists, but I completely changed their view. Definitely enjoy those kinds of compliments.

There’s always one knob head in the audience dying to be heard. If they’re particularly bad I stop the song completely and inform the audience to pay attention while they have their say. Works a treat 👌

I hear you man! Some people just don't have any patience for it or make ticky tack complaints about it. I had somebody gently heckling me between songs at one gig last year. It's too this , it's too that, you should just play, I play a little bit of guitar too, blah, blah, blah, etc. Then he goes on to tell me. I sound like David Byrne and I should do a Talking Heads song. So I pull once in a lifetime out of my butt and do a pretty damn good job! He loves it. Gives me thunderous applause and then tells me I should only do Talking Heads songs. You just can't win sometimes!

It is ALWAYS better to take the time to set up the loop right in the beginning. Better then realizing partway through the song you fucked up the whole thing and have to start over

um, I have heard lots of loopers, but ive never heard anyone take so long as you to set up a loop. Dont see why you are complaining, they have a valid point.

As a person who uses a looper, I appreciate the timing and finesse it takes to build layer after layer. And you sir, are top tier the best! Keep doing your thing!
