Jaggery Caramel Custard made with just 4 simple ingredients. It doesn’t get easier than this! 🍮

● Double Horse Jaggery Powder - 50 grams
● Water - 50ml
● Eggs-3
● Eggyolk-1
● Double Horse Jaggery Powder - 100 grams
● Milk - 500 ml
● Vanilla essence - 1 tsp

Preparation :
1. Start off by making the caramel. Into a sauce pan, add in the jaggery powder and water. Simmer in low heat until slightly thick. This takes about 5 minutes.
2. Once slightly cooled, pour into desired moulds and set aside.
3. For the custard mix, add in the eggs and yolk into a bowl along with the Double Horse Jaggery powder.
4. Mix until well combined.
5. Add in the milk along with vanilla essence and mix well. Pass through a sieve to have a smoother texture.
6. Pour into the same moulds and bake/steam for 30 minutes at 160°C and refrigerate for a minimum of 2 hours.
7. Enjoy cold
