Years ago itself the Christian missionaries started meditation in their seminaries and nunneries.
I came to know about this 20-25 yrs back a dentist told me there's a church in Bangalore then now Bengaluru where Jesus statue in the prayer hall is like Budha sitting in meditation. The Hindus never mind anything so they come to know everything very late.

Meditation is a Sanatan concept and there are no two ways about it. The west is simply removing Sanatan from our concept and tagging it as their own. They are doing this to Yoga as well.
