So happy I found this channel when I did. I'm 8 months pregnant and so completely unaware about everything that will be happening. I've been trying to learn but there's just so much. Sometimes I get stressed about it, but then I remember it'll pass, and I'll probably miss it all one day.

My baby was still sleepy on day 2 and the hospital made me think something must be horribly wrong with him. He’s now 5 weeks old and perfectly healthy, just a pretty chill little guy. (Don’t get me wrong he has his moments)
Yes this is common but doesn’t happen with every baby, don’t freak out if your baby is still sleepy the 2nd day😅

I found my daughter fussy on the second day because she was super hungry and my milk hadn't come in. So she latched for hours to bring in my milk and cluster feed and cried relentlessly. Finally the next day the milk came and she was fine haha.

This hit harder with my second baby. Please, please give yourself the rest you need after you have your baby and expect this to happen. For whatever reason, I forgot about this in the hospital and cried because I didn’t give myself the rest I needed and tried keeping up with all the visitors, doctors coming in and out etc and wound up more exhausted on day two than day one after giving birth.
