I absolutely love the underlying subtlety of many of the small details in RDR2. It really show how much care went into the game. Every little detail, it’s just great and I hope they keep it up with GTA 6

I prefer the the Nevada hat , but whenever I wear it , I get made fun of by the gang for pretending to be " the law" .

Not only the hat, but almost every part of Arthur's default clothing mirrors Micah's too

Well i thought the reasoning of Micah’s hat choice was that it is one that some lawmen used to wear, ya know hinting that Micah is working with them

Strictly speaking, away from the context of the gang and what they once represented, Micah IN THE EYES OF THE LAW is a "good guy." He's evil, don't question it. But when you're ratting on criminals wanted by the law so thoroughly they'll chase them through a whole country, the law sees you in a much more favorable light.
Its also a "white horse" metaphor. The angel of death rides a white horse, a biblical tale that has existed longer than most societies. Micah is a white horse. When he rides into the gangs lives, he brings death. Its no secret that the gang rarely killed anyone that wasnt an outlaw prior to blackwater. With the introduction of micah, it all goes downhill very fast.

I always thought micah had the personality of a witty,loyal hero. So glad they went the direction they did tho.

I like to think it shows how they view themselves arthur always admits that hes been a bad man whereas micha sees himself as good because he doesn't care about anyone else and aslong as hes okay hes good

One thing to note is that Micah is only a villain in Arthur and John’s eyes (also some other gang members). As a normal citizen, Arthur would be the bad guy because he runs with the gang while Micah will be the good guy for trying to “leave it” and bring it down.

It’s the best hat in the game. I kept that hat on with every outfit for the entire game because it just goes with anything you wear.

I also like to mention that Arthurs undershirt is blue while Micahs undershirt is red, indicating that even though he’s evil on the outside with good in the inside and Micah vice versa
