Just picked up my first Speedmaster professional hesalite today. Just purchased the exhibition case back to swap it over!

What a special piece Brother!!! I'm literally BRAND NEW to watches lol, since I'm not a wealthy man I've heard that I'll get the most, "Bang for My Buck" by starting out with an OMEGA Even though these aren't exactly a "CHEAP" timepiece either, but I've heard this will definitely be a GREAT Piece to have... Any input would be IMMENSELY HELPFUL & APPRECIATED!!!!!

When you do this, look at it with a loupe. Normally i would never recommend this but dust can cause problems and if you look at the movement a lot you will eventually see it and it will kill you until you get it out

Smart move. I love the hesalite look, but then you miss out on the beautiful movement. This is best of both worlds.

I did the same thing. I always liked the older Hesalite sandwiches, but wanted the updated 3861 movement, so I made my own! I got one from Spiralwinder and never looked back. I can always switch it back if I have to go into space . . .
