It doesn't just let you keep track of cards you are missing, it prioritizes them when it gives you wonder picks to choose from. I constantly have one or two options in every wonder pick (sometimes 3) and now that I am nearing collection completion it will offer the same card multiple times on the wonder pick pack list.
In some ways if you limited the cards on your wish list it might help you fish for a certain card you want to pull.

You can also tell if you have certain cards or not if you go to your wonder pics and if there is a box symbol next to the card that means that itās in your collection if a card doesnāt have a box symbol next to it that means itās not in your collection

Wishlisting is good for completing decks, the cards you have already have a deck icon at the bottom

The wonder picks already tell you if you have that card or not. There's a symbol on the bottom right corner of the card to let you know if you have it or not

I have been questioning the Wonder Pick being from actual friends. I noticed the cards in Wonder pick are cards used in previous battle.
Another thing I noticed is if you click ot on a card, it'll end up in the rotation of wonder pick. I chose really random cards that aren't ever used. Then, they appear as a Wonder pick.

What I didn't mention in the video is that the Wishlist feature can be used to prioritize cards you're missing for a mission/quest or a deck. Rather than the missing binder icon that shows you what you don't have and might not need.
