Why does it feel like I'm watching Spike TV back in the 90s with this narrator?

Did...did the drones just breach the door so another could detonate inside the room? That is fucking terrifying!

Time to perfect the high pulse laser gun that is developed and tested. Thereā€™s no limit to the amount of technology for death and destruction that can be achieved.

Thereā€™s nothing special here. We just called them drones instead of missiles back in the day. For example, the Russian SS-N-19 shipwreck missile designed to take out carriers could do pretty well all of that while travelling over 300 miles at Mach 1.6 and carrying a 1600 lb warhead. They had the ability to select one missile to climb up and use its radar to detect targets, identify its priority targets, and relay that to the other missiles in the salvo, and specify which missile is to attack which. It also could use radar ocean reconnaissance satellites for targeting and had a missile evasion system to avoid SAMs that might be targeting it. Oh, and did I mention that this was a missile designed in the 1970s? And for land targeting, the tomahawk has also had a similar capability for some time now, plus some others. So yeah, other than being tiny, your drones donā€™t really bring anything new to the table. Just smaller and cheaper.

Small warhead, easy to shoot down with AA cannons or CIWS, CRAM and probably expensive af. Remember how everyone was wetting their pants over the US announcing they'd send Switchblade to Ukraine? Haven't heard about them since.

always wondered how the dynamic of swarm drones v explosives/pressure waves would work.

Remember the movie Angel has fallen...? Where a drone swarm opperated by "terrorists" try to kill the president and his team while he's on a fishing trip. I could rly see this happening. These swarms ending up somehow on the black market where then it's used as a terror weapon

I think a huge positive of AI warfare would be being able to identify and exclude non-hostile targets such as hospitals and civilians.
