Lol G.R.R. Martin's fear become reality. They twisted his story to check boxes. He was always afraid his story will become like George Lucas and it happened. This creator care more about not offending certain fanbase, tgey clearly favor the black and picture them as this beatiful socialy accepted grup. What a prick, HBO will ruin another great story

Honestly even though it was brief I thought it was nice to see that Aegon and Sunfyre were clearly really close. I think the original events would have been better.
And they could have had Rhaenys escape after Aegon left.

It sucks that he’s confirmed dead in the show because in the books he ends up healing up after the battle at Rooks rest he has whole fight with Moondancer that we’re not gonna get outside of dragons stone and he wins the battle but he’s badly injured again and Aegon feeds Rhaenyra to him but he dies shortly after Do to his wounds festering

Rhaenys is my vote regardless.
Aegon was drunk and rogue, broken by a lack of confidence, used by his own family to usurp the throne from the true heir and Queen of the Seven Kingdoms. The dragons were collateral damage unfortunately. They locked Rhaenys in her room instead of given her free reign to decide her allegiance on her own accord. They would have killed her and slaughtered her dragon or claimed her dragon later on.
Sunfire was a beautiful Dragon stuck in the middle of a family fued. A family fued which should have been resolved by integrity and loyalty. The greens caused their own demise and at the end of the Dance of the Dragon war Aegon the 3rd, Rhaenyra's youngest still took the throne while Meleys, Caraxes, Vhagar, Syrax, Vermax, Sunfire, Moondancer and many more died. 🤷🏻♀️
The Queen who never was, faught two dragons . Did not flee and died with integrity and loyalty.
Aegon and his Brother Outmatched Rheanys and Meleys so i always go for the under do

I liked meleys busting thru the floor. She was a badass looking dragon. I thought sunfire was odd looking with his sailfish thing on his head and horns were less like spikes but more like coming out of his head like a ram

We deserve to see helaena and dreamfyre too, what a waste of potential, scene that will never be made.

The showrunners did everything to make the greens as miserable as possible compared to their book counterparts.
Still I don't fckn care, Aegon and Sunfyre nailed that whole sh*tshow with that few minutes of their screentime!
