It's every part of medicine. They are so compartmentalized that if your issues don't fit the narrow definition of what they cover they just stop dealing with it. They don't even send you to the next specialist nowadays. They just wipe their hands and say "you're fine" even though none of the actual issues (which overlap two specialities) were addressed. And then they get mad at you if you're researching yourself in hopes of finding a cure or resolution to your issues.

I had a concussion. The doctor touched the occiput and i reacted with an obvious flinch and irriration. They decided that was a great reason to neglect care, pretend they didn't believe i had insurance, and then claim that i left without permission after i asked what else i needed to do after waiting 2 hours after being seen by the doctor. Rogue Valley, southern Oregon.

If you have post concussion syndrome, like I do for 3 1/2 years now, donโt waste your time with a Neurologist. Just find a traumatic brain injury clinic, itโs much better at least.

This is exactly what happened to me! They sent me home and fell twice more! Its been 2 years and I am still having problems.
