Did you know craft lasers like the Glowforge Aura sometimes have a hard time cutting and engraving the color blue? I was testing some settings for these pencils, and the power was too low for the blue ones! Something to keep in mind as you work with your laser!

Interesting.. lasers donโ€™t respond well to the color blue.

It has nothing to do with the lasers power. The reason is the optical absorbtion spectrum of the material you are trying to engrave vs the emission spectrum of the laser beam. So for a blue laser, the closer the color of the material is to blue, the harder it is to engrave. The same accounts for transparent materials which are, well, transparent and therefore will not absorp the energy from the beam.
