Hope you enjoyed the short! This short is part of a series where I show off playing cards in my collection. As a magician, I have a pretty large collection of playing cards and magic tricks. This is one of the decks I’ve picked up along the way that I figured I’d show off! These are the Purple Artifice playing cards by Ellusionist. This is one of Ellusionist’s flagship decks of cards, and you can tell right away. The cards are springy and easy to handle, but this deck really shines in terms of design. The back design is unique and the changes to the pips and face cards are subtle but distinct enough to give the cards a unique look. The ace of spades has a unique ribbon design to it that I absolutely love! I also really like that Ellusionist includes a double-backer (a playing card with 2 backs) for magicians! This is great for so many magic tricks! My favorite part of the deck though is the jokers! On their own, the jokers are nothing special, but together, they are a magician doing a card trick! There are plenty of instances where you can use this little gimmick to your advantage and do a card trick of your own with it! It’s a great tool for beginner magicians and professionals alike! Overall, this is one of my favorite decks of cards in my card collection! I absolutely loved being able to do my own review on them! Lost in this is the fact that this deck comes in multiple colors.
