I understand the desire to design and create something but i dont see the point in this when there's at least one company that makes an E Start kit for kick start only bikes. They come with a custom flywheel/stator cover that a small motor mounts to and then theres a couple gears that link the motor to the flywheel or crankshaft on the stator side of the engine. They are super sleak, work great, reliable, and theres no bulky arms and what not. Plus it leaves the kickstart functioning for a backup. With your setup it is bulky, doesnt seem like it'll be reliable and takes away having a backup starter. I do like how your designing this all on your own and solving issues as they arise. Im not hating whatsoever i just dont see the necessity in doing so. It would be a lot cooler to see you put that time, thought and effort into solving an issue with something that doesnt already have a solution.
