This crash is always the saddest to me. I think maybe knowing how insanely preventable it was and that the captain figured out what was wrong just seconds before impact. Also the transcript from the cockpit voice recorder is haunting.

Already watched Titanic of the skies on Sunday, absolutely brilliantly put together. It was like watching a film! Your content is the best on YouTube Petter👋 can't wait for the next one!

I built all of the Operating Manual 767 Unreliable Airspeed performance charts...undoubtedly fly the aircraft, pitch and thrust, especially at altitude...sort out the details later. What a sad tragedy that didn't need to happen.

The crucial details to me, seem to be because of the senior pilot not heeding the warnings of an imminent storm.

This is by far the best airplane accident video on Mentour. The details will keep you on the edge. This would have been something you pay to watch. Amazing.

Bonin seemed poorly trained. Those poor passengers.

I liked very much how it pointed out it was a succession of two different events... 🤔 Media always seem to portray it as one continuous stall into the ocean... 😔

I was so confused for a minute because I thought this was a reload or continuation 😅 I did love how much effort was put into that episode and have been suggesting your channels to people that say they watch air crash investigation as you go into so much more detail and from a pilot's and training captain's eye view of the incidents rather than "drama! Intense music! Flashing images! Little amount of detail stretched over 30-45 minutes!" That those bigger budget (dare I say American market versions?) do.

There was recently an incident where the pilot died just after takeoff. It was aparantly a real shit show, but nobody was hurt save for the dead pilot. that would make a good short too

This one made me so sad, 200+ ppl. i dont blame the pilots but, my gosh! I work in projects (totally different industry) and the amount of time people bring up what ifs scenarios that other people shut down because "it will be very rare for bla to happen" its crazy and i feel like it happened with the training and design of this plane.

The titanic of the skies would've probably floated up to space

The issue was that the sensors that monitored the airspeed failed. The pilot stalled the plane, and dropped all the way into the ocean.
