You know what as I was playing through the game, I actually noticed he was not in the game a lot. This was detrimental to the overall game. Reno SHOULD have been in the game more. It's sad that his voice actor passed away but Square Enix shouldn't have left him out of the game because of it. Still though R.I.P.

It's good. It actually turned out better that Reno got sidelined for most of the game thanks to that beating we gave him in Remake. It gave Elena some much-needed time to shine.

It a good thing Cloud beat a crap outta of Reno so hard in Remake, he was in so much pain that he couldn't move much as before, it no wonder he take a vacations and let Elena take Reno place, it smart move right there, Perfect timing as well cause Japanese Voice actor Reno pass away not so long after remake came out π rip

They've confirmed that Reno will have a new VA in Part 3, so his role will be larger than in Rebirth!
