"You" is a psychological thriller show that follows Joe Goldberg, a charming bookstore manager who becomes obsessed with a woman named Beck and goes to great lengths to insert himself into her life. The show explores themes of love, obsession, and the dark side of social media.

*WHY DO YOU LOOK LIKE THAT?*
i'm a vtuber.
A VTuber (ブイチューバー, BuiChūbā), or virtual YouTuber (Japanese: バーチャルユーチューバー, Hepburn: bācharu YūChūbā), is an online entertainer who uses a virtual avatar generated using computer graphics. Real-time motion capture software or technology are often—but not always—used to capture movement. The digital trend originated in Japan in the mid-2010s, and has become an international online phenomenon in the early 2020s.[1] A majority of VTubers are English and Japanese-speaking YouTubers or live streamers who use avatar designs. By 2020, there were more than 10,000 active VTubers.[2] Although the term is an allusion to the video platform YouTube, they also use websites such as Niconico, Twitch, Facebook, Twitter, and Bilibili.

The first entertainer to use the phrase "virtual YouTuber", Kizuna AI, began creating content on YouTube in late 2016. Her popularity sparked a VTuber trend in Japan, and spurred the establishment of specialized agencies to promote them, including major ones such as Hololive Production, Nijisanji, and VShojo. Fan translations and foreign-language VTubers have marked a rise in the trend's international popularity.[3] Virtual YouTubers have appeared in domestic advertising campaigns, and have broken livestream-related world records.

I feel like the latter is worse since it's something satisfying gets turned on its head

A good show with a bad ending is heart breaking, a bad show that gets better makes me feel like maybe I didn't waste my time.

Latter is worse, if it gets better you can go back to watch the show, but if it starts of great then ends horribly you can’t take back the time you’ve invested into the show

Reframing the entire story really can have a huge impact on your impression of a piece of media, a proper character arc with a sub-par story can definitely be a lot nicer than an unfinished or dropped arc

A good show can be entirely ruined forever by its ending a bad one can only be redeemed to end like it has been running

The reaction to Game of Thrones answers this question pretty easily

Being invested for years in a show and the ending just ruins it all.

I’d rather have a bad show with a good end than a good show with a bad end because at least with the former you already have low expectations.

A bad show with a good ending is a slog to get through, but a good show with a bad ending kills all momentum and enjoyment it has.

The state of Holywood where people accept horrible shows rather than asking for a proper show with good story and ending

You know how it is... Bad massage with a good ending beats a good massage with the bad ending.

No matter how good a show is a really bad ending can make the whole thing feel like a waste of time.

Better to have a fun journey I think. I'm pretty quick to drop shows I'm not having fun with so if a bad show has a decent ending I probably won't ever find out about it.

I'd rather spend 10-11 episodes having fun and then 1-2 episodes getting pissed off than the opposite. At least the show only sucks in hindsight, I've gone back to rewatch shows with awful endings and can still enjoy it and skip the ending.

I personally think good shows that end bad are worse but i have been tricked by seeing bad shows that end good so I start watching and power through half way through and just stop and just hate myself.

Years of watching anime has made me immune to bad endings tbh

Why would you keep watching a show that was terrible all the way through?
