Refs fault. I was formerly trained to ref grappling / MMA in a crash course.
Literally first lesson is that positioning is key and refs need to be moving constanky to observe tapouts, unconciousness, or dangerous lockouts in which a tap is impossible.
Also taught its in the ref if injury occurs as a result.of a missed tapout.
He needs to be fired or reprimanded. Unacceptable to be staring at ass

Both their faults everyone always defends the fighter for absolutely zero reason bro coulda stopped for a second and show the ref hes tapping but instead he just keep pounding on him even though he is done fighting, blind ref, dirty fighter

The ref was out of position to see the tap and the fighter kept dropping elbows while his opponent was tapping…. The reviews are mixed on this with some thinking the fighter should have stopped, but it’s hard to tell if he realized he was tapping. At the end of the day, fighters fight and refs are there to stop fights. Follow For More MMA Highlights👊
