According to Wonderful Precure official website,
Gaoh summoned not only Zakuro but also Torame's sprit, and put them into wolf statue.
So, both Zakuro & Torame are already dead, just like
other wolves.

Well I was right the main villain of Wonderful Precure Series is a wolf 🐺because there are some hint showing in episode 7, 11, and 19 as a shadow figure in a hooded cloth and a wolf head.
Plus in episode 23 Komugi have a strange dreams about a lonely wolf 🐺howling and then later on at the Star Festival learns about the Japanese wolves once lived near Animal Town which prove to be true.
Because in episode 29 the villain is called Gaou who is the one behind turning the innocent Niko animals into Garugaru/Gaogaon just so he can get his revenge on the human for killing his wolf clans cause them to be extinct century ag
