One summer my older brother and I were having dinner at a restaurant down by the ocean in deal New Jersey . I glanced over at another table and I noticed Joe peshi and his friend we're having dinner. I told my brother i'm gonna get an autograph picture for cathy. I waited till they were done eating to go over and ask for it as they were getting up to leave. I said Excuse me guys, Joe My girlfriend and I are big fans of yours Is it possible to get an autograph picture for her. Joe said sure follow me out of my car. He pulled out a picture and said to me. What's your girlfriend's name? I said her name is cathy , He said with a k or with a c? I told Him I don't remember. Without even pausing he said and you really don't give a fuck do you. My brother and I Laughed really hard at that. He was very polite and very gracious thank you.

That scene in 4 with Pesci and Gibson was so touching and heartfelt, it was a genuine scene that brought the character to a grounded level, yes hes all over the place, but when it really counts, when it really matters, he showed Mel he loved him like a brother, it was a wonderful scene.

I first recognized Joe Pesci in the first 2 Home Alone films along with the Lethal Weapon series before I found out he's gotten at least some bigger notoriety from Goodfellas & Casino. Nevertheless, I consider him to be one of the best actors in show business along with the nice small added bonus that he's from my state of NJ.
