God would totally have done that. Itโs what He does. Genesis 22. God told Abraham to sacrifice his son Issac. This is the Foundation of Judaism. (John 3:16) God sent his only Son to die on the cross. Foundation of Christianity. So, this is honestly Godโs Modus Operandi.
Maybe he was trying to start a new religion, and got into a heated phone call with Mary and Joseph over child support payments before he could point out the ram in the bushes.

That is just too much ,to take in.. People that has tendensies of schizofrenia, has also a risk of developing this extreme religious psycosis. Iv seen it in many cases of children being killed beacuse they were "possesed" or due to "exsorcism"... or beacuse "God" spoke to them. (Or "Jesus"). It is so tragic, and I wish that we could do more for these children born to parents with mental health issues- and that the "system", schools-healthcare-and family/friends have a close eye on the kids, and offer help to the parents before anything like this happen... the knowlege is out there!!!
