I use a Makita one for flooring as well, only used it for overboarding floorboards with 6mm ply but it works well for that too

These are mint do you have to buy the thing that holds the screws or do you put the screws in yourself

I used one for a bit but was more hassle than it was worth every time having to refeed a screw strip and occasionally getting a jam.

theyre shit when they dont work proper. wehn one gets jammed. by the time uve got the screw out , you could have used a drilll set to low. as for the screws that dont land at the right depth, u still end up going round using your impacter to sink them deeper

As a joiner I’ve done loads of plasterboarding in my time. If I get anymore boarding to do I will definitely buy one of these. What’s the weight of it.
And how long does it take to load the strips in?

Handyman do pretty much everything ok? Nothing great? That’s the pay difference plus my licenses won’t cover me doing anything but carpentry,

You can use the black grip mate above the trigger it’s a lot easier and takes the strain out your hands. Works a treat when doing ceilings
