Hey AuntieLiz, here are some few mentions.
1. Golden Mile Food Centre - Chilli Prawn Mee with pork ribs / Prawn Vadai / Baba Charlie / Nasi Ayam penyatt beside baba Charlie Stall.
2. East Coast Park Food Centre - zuo ji duck rice / beside got curry puff not bad also.
3. Katong shopping centre - Katong mei wei chicken rice. Best so far in Sg gotta try than know.
4. Pasir Ris Hawker - Wild Olives western - queue can abit long so go when just open at 12 and 5pm
5. Food Park Tampines - Ri Ri Sheng Mala hotpot. - Mala xiang guo spicy

Bedok Fengshan 85 Hawker Centre. Go in the evening for dinner. Lots of food. Try the minced pork noodle soup, Chinese satay, grilled stingray, fried oyster omelette, Chai Chee pork porridge, sugar cane juice (preferably with lemon), and finish off with tang yuan (get a mix of black sesame and peanut filling) in peanut or ginger based soup.

Was at mei Mei in mid October and ordered the Kaya toast set…saw you in the kitchen looking very busy. Anyway I suggest The coffee shop on Veeraswamy Road has a porridge stall that you can choose what you want to add into it….will work well in the -2 degrees at Mei Mei…won’t get cold easily…great comfort food for the winter…also there is a great chicken wing stall and a bak chor me stall that also hits the spot like the one you had at Tanglin Holt. Enjoy your last week here.

FYI, a lot of hawker stalls closed on Monday. You can go to Golden Mile Food Centre. CBD town area Amoy Hawker stalls open from Mon to Fri during serving more for office workers for lunch. A lot of international food there. Blk 216 Bedok North Prawn & Mee open by 2 youngest good prawn noodle.

beach road old army market … the basement floor has a great peranakan food stall run by a lovely couple. comfort food and hard to find in hawker centres. usually restaurants only. It’s called Charlie’s
Maybe not the best choice for solo eating 😅
