You helped me so much a year ago when I lost my sweet momsie - i still feel her close … she loved rainbows and told us all to look for her in the rainbows, well, I was in Michigan visiting my sister a few weeks ago and we went to see the old house we grew up in, it was a dreary day but the sun poked through and you guessed it, a rainbow appeared in front of us 🌈 I have never seen a rainbow in November before and in Michigan to boot!! Of course the tears were flowing through the laughter knowing our sweet mother was with us

Your advice helped me get through the 15 months my 93, then 94 year old mom was on hospice for end stage dementia. Thank you for mentioning somewhere in your videos that in the final hours or days HER HANDS AND FEET COULD TURN PURPLE. We were sitting vigil in day nine of no food, she weighed about 65 pounds, day 10 of death rattles. So we were watching her breathing. The S patch controlled the rattles. Her hands were under the covers and she was sleeping or already unconscious when I reached in to see if her hand was cold. It was cold, I pulled back the covers and her fingers were purple. I checked and of course her toes, further from her heart were purple. I knew this was a sign so I called my only living sibling and our spouses to come. Mom’s breathing changed in under an hour from the purple fingers and toes and she was gone an hour and twelve minutes after the appearance of the purple extremities.

Thank you for mentioning this possible occurrence. It was the only sign that gave us time to get family bedside in time. Her breathing changes were quiet, sudden, and she was gone quickly once they started. It was the purple hands and feet that helped us know. I would love if you mentioned it again in a video so you may help many more families know this may be the only sign that happens, short of the last five minutes of silent changes in breathing. Thank you so much for all your insightful, educational, compassionate, and informative videos. You really helped in a long hospice run of vascular dementia. ❤

I have been watching your videos for a few months now. Thanks to you, it helped me prepare for my mother's death. She died on Thanksgiving day. Mom had dementia and watching her suffer was the worst. It broke me. Her passing was difficult, but I am thankful she is free. One thing that I didn't know about was weeping. The toxins that are excreted when a person dies. That was a surprise for me. It might be helpful to talk more about that and explain what is happening. Thank you for all you do. I hope that anyone who is going through this stage of their life or watching someone they love go through this last journey will find some peace and understanding with these videos. They sure helped me. ❤

You genuinely helped me be at ease and prepare for my mom’s passing. She passed away on November 30 and we have her memorial service today. She had brain cancer, and we only had five months with her from the diagnosis. Thank you so much for spreading information and helping people at ease. It is genuinely very much appreciated. 💕

Julie...I just love you, and how you are so devoted to helping others! You are awesome! I'll watch your videos of course, and want to buy your "Nothing to Fear" book for myself, for my December birthday! ☺️

It's especially important to me this year, as I came very close to dying on April 25th. Like an idiot, I drove myself to the hospital that afternoon, unable to breathe or stand up. As I leaned against the wall of the ER entrance, on the verge of total collapse, a precious security guard rushed over to me with a wheelchair. Within 5 minutes time, I was in an exam room with a team of nurses and doctors hovering over me.

To make a long story short (if you can call this short)....I was eventually diagnosed with bacterial pneumonia, which triggered my heart to go into A-Fib, which in turn, triggered acute congestive heart failure. Top all of that with COPD from breathing in my chain-smoking father's second hand smoke for the first 21'years of my life.

The end result of all of this, is that I'm now on 15 prescription drugs... probably for the rest of my life...to prevent a stroke or another bout of CHF. (A side note: I'll be 79 this month). And of course, all the drugs have side effects, the worst being light-headedness and EXTREME FATIGUE. *SIGH*

But for now... life goes on, so I'm fumbling through each and every day as best I can. As Mom used to say..."It could be a lot worse".😌 Thanks for wading through my ramblings
