The US made s30v gerbers are Still well made solid knives. Like the sedulo and Assert, are fantastic knives.

I use gerber as a work knife and tbh it doesn't let me down buuuuuuut the pouch, shef, holders have never been good, I love my centre drive but ive lost 2 because the pouch has lost its velcro or the strap has snapped and fell off

Anybody that's even casually into knives would know Gerber is absolute trash these days and has been for the better part of the last 15 years.
That's not too say they don't have their popular models that can make ok all use knives but if you're looking for quality, they're at the bottom of the list.

Gerber is not what it used to be. If you had this knife for the past 10-15 years, yo may think it’s great. But the harsh truth is Fiskars turns everything into a joke.
