9-3 because I've got used to it while driving a regular car. Also, my local rental carting does not allow for comfortable wheel handling due to narrow spacing between the driver and the motor. Lack of the adjustment does not really help :)

9-3 because usually the kart doesn’t have wheel & seat adjustment and I’m almost having my hands straight to reach the wheel.

When I'm karting I use 9-3, the same for Sim-Racing.
I was always holding the steering-wheel like that because holding the steering-wheel like 7-5 you won't even be able to change your gear with your paddles, when you're using manual-transmission.
A racing-wheel is usually designed to be held at 9-3.
