Me, my whole life. Dad is dxylexic. Sucks, total genetic on short term memory ...now my grandkids as well.

Sometimes it's an inability, not a significant struggle. I have Dyscalculia and after forty years and trying all the alternatives it remains incomprehensible and something I can not find any non self referential explanation for use. However, recently I may have discovered what may be the core of mathematics as viewed is from the outside. I would not be surprised if this proves to be a controversial view point. This is what I have so far in my investigation into Math: WTF am I looking at? Number sense, magnitude, place value and intuition are emotional reactions, a specific subset of emotions I can not feel at all. All of Mathematics is a collection of unrelated associations of rationalised justifications for arbitrary biases triggered by an emotional reaction. It's all an aesthetic style of poetry that targets emotions I don't fave so it doesn't communicate anything to me and I can not communicate anything with.

Okay thank you. I was really struggling with this because on the one hand I was being told that ADHD was a disability, and that it was a disability that caused struggles in academic settings, but then found that children with ADHD were excluded from all the programs for kids with learning disabilities, and that really confused me.
