Just a tip to anyone watching, don't let the oil contaminate the silicon at the bottom of the diff. I've had to re do a couple silicon seats because the oil dripped before I could tighten the bolts and it continued to leak.

Aren't you supposed to snug the bolts and wait for the rtv to set BEFORE you torque them? Otherwise you're just squeezing all the sealant out.

You're supposed to snug it down and give RTV a couple minutes for it to harden just slightly, so when you torque down more of the RTV actually remains between the sealing surfaces and it doesn't all just push out the sides the way it does when you torque it down immediately.

nothing wrong with cheap tools. cheap doesnât necessarily mean junk. expensive doesnât necessarily mean good. i love hart, i love hypertough, i love milwaukee, and i especially love makita.

I love Hart tools. That particular impact drill is a bit heavy but the brushless impact has a nice feel. I'd pay for Hart tools over a free DeWalt any day of the week.

I always brake clean the inside of the cover along with the gears just to get all old fluid off and incase a piece of silicone went in from getting the old silicone off
