I can’t disagree on your take. I am about to put together a GMAS2100, and much like my Casio Royale it will never see any hard use. My EDC work watches are in their original resin form. That’s not completely true, lug adapters, crystal protectors, bull-bars and NATO straps aside; they still sport their resin case shroud.

I really like the looks over previous generations and I only use the left side buttons twice a year at daylight savings. Just waiting for a bit of a price drop on the “ultra mods.”

To clarify, I was referring to keeping the pusher buttons on the right side, but having flush fit buttons on the left side to maintain the usability and the look. Turning the crown into a small driver for the screwbars would retain a function for it other than merely a look.
