So at 13 this girl went from seeing her dad everyday to once every few months? All she saw was her dad choosing to give his time to random women and abandoning her. Even though she is probably in her late teens early twenties from what it sounds like in the story I am willing to bet she still holds a lot of hurt and resentment. Op is the AH. All he did by not inviting her was reinforce her feelings of not being wanted by him. She has probably felt rejected by her dad since the divorce and when she tries to express to her dad that these women only want him for money I think she was trying to tell him she loves him for him and just wants her dad back. Instead she got shoved out. Again. I feel for her. Hopefully she will find peace because dad does not value her.

OP is TAH, not only did he choose his gf over his daughter but he also didn’t even talk to his daughter and explain that he knows part of the reason she’s with him is the money. She’s 13 right? That’s an age where it can be difficult when you parent starts to date again, so she might have mixed feelings about it, also if she doesn’t know that OP knows why the gf is with him then it seems like something she’s trying to be cautious about. In my opinion if he doesn’t even remember the context of the fight and he was drunk then he shouldn’t have any sort of reaction until after he talks to her. For me it’s the fact that he didn’t even talk to her about the fight like a parent is supposed to do!
