Four-wheelers running on diesel can be manufactured in the next four years. Yes, you heard it right. This is not me, but the panel of the Indian Oil Ministry saying that.

They have given the government of India these five major suggestions. Firstly, in the cities where the population is 250,000 or more, or in any polluted towns, the use of diesel-powered four-wheelers should be banned by 2027.

Secondly, from the next year, meaning 2024, permission should not be given for new diesel buses for city transport. And after 2030, only electric buses should be seen on the roads.

Thirdly, in order to promote electric vehicles in India, numerous schemes and incentives should be provided so that electric vehicles are available to you in the future at lower prices.

Next, after 2024, only electric vehicles should be allowed in delivery vehicles, and for cargo transfer, gas-powered trucks or railways should be used. It should be noted that there is a plan to make the railway network 100% electric in the next 2-3 years.

And finally, India should create a minimum of two months' worth of underground gas storage with the help of foreign gas-producing companies because the demand for gas is expected to increase in the coming years.
