A classic example of Karma Yog! Our intention is what matters not the action itself. If our intention is pure and we act from a sense of duty and not tainted by our selfish motives, then we are not bound by karmic reactions.

Swamiji gave a beautiful example of Guru Govind Singh as a true Karma Yogi. He was fighting for sake of duty and he was about to get on the enemy chest to kill him but when his opponent spat on him, he left him and walked away and someone asked him you were ready to kill him why did you step away and he said I was fighting for the sake of my duty but when he spat on me I became angry and If I kill out of anger then that’s not for my duty.

Swamiji’s usage of words really makes us to picture the event in our mind! The chronological method Swamiji used truly helps, the watchers, to understand what the message Swamiji is trying to convey. Swamiji initially stated how the guru felt when he was about to slaughter his “enemy” and how he became aware of what he was about to do, that was something very subtle, without the 100% of consciousness one could have never get that kind of thought, even in that chaotic environment one can easily get carried away. We get innumerable instances where we can implement in our daily life. Knowing the amount of negativity today’s society has, we can adopt from this and implement it with others to help better their life and our life. Just we have to be aware that are we doing our true “Dharma” in that particular moment or we acting out of our anger greed or hatred (basically out of our lower nature of our mind) instead of being in our higher nature as souls. This has mentioned in Mahabharata and Manusmruti, like ”Dharmo Rakshati Rakshitaha” meaning if we protect Dharma, Dharma will protect us. Therefore we should always follow the path of Dharma no matter what.

Guruji has clearly exemplified Karm Yoga from Guru Gobind Singh example. He got this title based on his immense dedication and love for his God. Initially to practice Karm Yoga is extremely difficult but if we work hard and our why power is clear then we can become like them. Based on my Guru Mukundananda teachings from Karm Yoga, I made 7 principles for 7 days
1. It teaches us to renounce the Ego of Proprietorship.
2. Every person is child of God and we are his part and parcel of him. Therefore, see God in everybody and treat with respect and dignity.
3. Do your work with an objective to please the god and for his pleasure and service.
4. Do your duty with the right intention and right direction without focusing on the results.
5. Don’t entitle yourself as enjoyer of the fruits which develops pride and ego. Offer it to lord as everything belongs to him.
6. Give up the Ego of Doership. Shri Ram is the energy giver and what we achieved and performed it’s because of him.
7. Don’t be lazy, procrastinate and don’t delude in Maya. Doing our actions selflessly is the key rather blaming destiny.❤❤❤

What a wonderful way of explaining karm yog, when we do work with keeping away from emotions and results, it is called as Karm Yog, it means doing nothing or dedicating all works to God

What a beautiful depiction of Karam yog Swamiji, across all religions actually. It's a state of mind - their soul practices repeated detachment, while doing all duties with zeal and enthusiasm. Thank you! Will make sure when I scold my kids or interact with friends or have any dealing with people around as a part of my duty - I am detached internally and doing it just for the pleasure of God, since he put me here and it may be his wish that I fulfill these relationships. But, emotionally I should be a very distant mode, with my mind doing smaran/ enchanting Radhey naam
