Line up against a helper, both of you holding a ball. Start the drill by throwing at a target - it could be a pylon, a duffle bag, another player, whatever. Letting off a quality throw is an important part of this drill.
Ask your helper to throw at you once you have released your throw (not before!) As soon as you have released your throw, turn to face your helper. Square up your body so you have firm footing beneath you, and get your hands ready to catch.
