My hot take as a straight person is, I prefer queer anime and manga because you tend to get 2 complete and compelling characters instead of 2D wishfulfillment caricatures. I’d rather have characters I can connect to on an emotional level than ones that mirror my own sexuality

Sasaki and Miyano is also a good, fluffy romance between 2 guy highschoolers who maybe arent gay in general, but def are dor each other, lol. It is a pretty slow burn, tho

You're so real for promoting this manga. It's truly something that touches your soul. I love the mother, i love the sons and i even love the dad's character and his willingness to learn. It's very heartwarming and i keep imagining if my family would share the samr qualities. Quite a distant dream but that's the point.

I absolutely love this series! I have the first 4 volumes, and I desperately want to get more. I had let one of my sisters borrow the first volume, but that was almost 4 years ago and she lives a few states away from me now so i have know clue when I'll get it back (if ever). 😭
But i definitely recommend it if anyone wants a light-hearted and wholesome store from the parents' point of view
