I hate when a bio parent obviously favors and allows other family to favor their other kids. A good mom would never have neglected their kid simply because she has other kids with her current husband. And a good mom wouldn't allow her husband to neglect and emotionally abuse her other kid from another relationship. If you can't step up and be a good parent when remarrying, if you can't grow up and stand up for your kid against your new partner, do your kid a favor and find them other family to live with. Your kid deserves better. Just admit youre selfish and inconsiderate, and try to be considerate of your other kid for once in your goddamn life. OP's mom is on freaking crack for thinking she is in any way right. She neglected her daughter, allowed her other family to treat her like crap, and has the audacity to be a B at OP for simply trying to find the happiness, peace, and love that she deserves. If I were OP, I'd go back home just to beech slap some sense into my mom and remind her, her husband, and their kids how they decided to neglect and emotionally abuse me because they didnt love, care, or respect me as a living breathing feeling human being. I hope karma finds all of them in full force. Though I don't really blame the mom and stepdad's kids, I'm sure they weren't nice to OP either, but it's really the parent's fault for raising shitty kids. The kids were just following their parent's example. I do hope those half-siblings grow up to recognize the truth and reach out to OP with an apology.

NTA, OP should tell the mother how she feels and does not want to live with a parent that treats them poorly. Clearly, the mom is everything she claimed the dad was.

This is where Op should tell mom "Okay I'll come back on the condition that Step-dad sincerely apologizes and begs for me to return" It will either call mom out as a bluff, make step-dad admit he prefers OP gone or put distress in their relationship when he has to do it."
