This is why I’m single smh. Definitely NTA….. why can’t the MiL respect the power of a closed door and knock. She might have conditioned her son to be ok with that behavior but that’s not ok with everyone. How is OP “childish” when the MIL doesn’t respect bathroom privacy in another adult’s home??? It doesn’t matter if you’re family, you have to respect someone’s boundaries especially when you’re in that person’s house.
