I'd say create a national equity and venture capital firm, where the gov provides funding to start-ups and even buys established businesses from retirees using tax money.
Imagine a ยฃ1Trillion state investment VC/equity firm that brings extra ยฃ50B-100B a year to the economy alone.
what would that do?
if i do ever become pm of bangladesh that's what id focus on, and in 5 years eliminate income taxes.

Mostly good points, but I'll start with investigating why the UK is terrible ...sorry I mean horrible at managing infrastructure projects? Name one major project that has been delivered on time and within budget.
Before giving money away, you need to establish the operators competence as part of due diligence. Sadly, ineptitude is the hobby of choice when it comes to UK infrastructure space.
