I had 2 C-sections. They are very painful with a long recovery. Women who say I was lucky makes me SMH.

I had 4 c sections,
- yes it hurts as hell
- yes it hurts even when you sneeze,
When you laugh,
when you cough,
When you sty to sit up, lay down
- yes it last for while ( 2 3 4 5 months even after year you still can fell like something is pulling inside your scars)
BUT IT WORTHS for YOUR HEALTHY BABY YO BE ON UOUE ARMMS WHEN EVER YOU SEE HIS OR HER SMILE YOU WILL FORGET ALL OF YOUR PAIN THAT YOU BEEN THOUGHT.

I'm so grateful I haven't needed a C section. Recovery after natural birth is quite fast, I could walk around, shower myself, straight after. I can't understand how anyone would choose a C section unless it was essential.

If u are able to do naturally, fantastic but if u can't, and theres medical reasons then definitely c section is a life saver. Women like me who had so many lasting effects of natural delivery that can be life changing, severe tearing, prolapse etc should go the c section route with future babies.

It felt like being cut in two when I had a C section, but after 7 days I was riding my bike again.

When I had my c section there were curtains up so I couldn't see anything.. I was paralyzed and all I could move was my arms but the doctor who was operating on me DESCRIBED EVERYTHING HE WAS DOING IN DETAIL... I figure he was training resident surgeons. He pulled my son out finally and held him up by his feet/legs and shouted "SEE, THE BABY IS OUT!" and let me tell you something they won't tell you. YOU FEEL EVERYTHING THAT IS HAPPENING. You don't feel pain. But you can feel the cutting and the stapling. You feel your skin separating. But it's not painful. It's weird while it's happening.. The pain will come a few hours later though.

What amazed me was how fast the surgery was. It took about 5 minutes from the time I was cut to when the baby was taken out.
