I genuinely hated her character before 4.2. I was convinced there was no way they could make her a good character with that bratty attitude, but then they pull a 180 in the archon quest and gave her genuine character development and depth. Even played her character quest to make sure she had actually changed for the better, and she had, thank god.
Anyone who simped for Furina before this update is wack as hell tho.

Im f2p and ended up pulling her and charlotte on my 79 pity 10 pull. Also i dont waste money on gachas because its essentially just way for companies to suck you in and get you to buy more and more stuff. Why would i waste money on something like this when i can use it for something productive and actually something i need.

I don't like her, but i know she's one of the best supports at the moment, but for me this is not a competitive game, nor a "must have it omg" thing, I'm going for Shogun (that i don't like her either but i need it for one team) and Nahida because i like her and she's a good support, that's all

So far, as a brainlit F2P Player who poorly metaslaves, shes kinda eh so far. I used her on the Trial and the ability of Summoning Turrets was something I wanted in the game for a long time, problem is the Trial Versions tend to be WAY hyped up in power since her power right now in Turrets is crazy sad out of Trial. Of course I am still building her up, since I took a break lasting back in the start of Sumeru building characters up is a boring sluggish thing lol.
As of right now, I only really use her for chip heals when my papa Geos shield goes down and I haven't finished by attack string yet. The other thing is essentially using her to hurt everyone so my Barb can heal em back instantly and do Furinas ult for the stronger attack string.... I will say, my trash poorly metaslaved Diluc has never gone past 15K Damage let alone 10K, and some fights recently I've noticed I have been reaching that 15K mark since Furina joined.
