By the way, the reason why that man was so upset in the first place was that that car was the only possession he had left after his father passed away. This man (most likely his colleague) paid that much to make sure no one bought that car. Then he gifted this priceless car to the man.

One day I walked into a pizza place on my lunch break. I saw that behind the counter there was a crockpot of stew, it smelled amazing and I commented that it reminded me of home. At the time, I was in the Navy and a long, long way from where I came from. Before my pizza came out the man behind the counter brought me a bowl of the stew to my table. He said he made it for his coworkers but was happy to share. He didnāt know it but when I said it reminded me of home, I meant it reminded me of my grandfather, who raised me, who had passed just two years prior while I was stationed elsewhere. that one act of kindness reminds me to give when I can, all these years later.
