In this web development short video, you'll see how a landing page design is put together with some simple HTML and CSS.
The original tutorial takes you through this process step-by-step explaining how to structure the HTML markup for the landing page and also how to use CSS to style the markup to fit the original design.
The styling relies heavily on flexbox to create the columns and 'rows' for each section of the page and individual items inside the columns are also aligned using flexbox rules.
The design although it looks quite simple actually has a reasonable amount of complex items to work through also. For example, the menu list on the left-hand-side of the page has custom numbering icons and there is a single menu item which has an 'active' state.
