The 102km from Barrick’s Buzwagi project to its Bulyanhulu mine is a jaw rattling and bone crushing affair. It becomes more fun of course in the rainy season. But the fun is soon to be a thing of the past as Bulyanhulu is currently upgrading and resurfacing the road and hopes to have it all done soon, which will make it much safer for both drivers, passengers and local villagers. I got a lift with the fantastic Barrick driver Milani.
