This is my parents for real. This skit hits way too hard bro. I’m infuriated.

The way he tries to look at it while looking at the phone is so relatable.

You know it’s a good skit when it genuinely makes you mad.

I’m this way with my brother and my dad. Neither of them think anything is urgent unless they are doing it

Sometimes they raise their brows just to let you know that "yep I can hear you but I can't pull my eyes away from my screen yet"

The key is when someone has a pattern of doing this, just stop trying to show them things. Eventually they’ll subconsciously feel left out when you’re showing other people something cool or funny and try to be more attentive. Or they’ll be blissfully unaware and continue with their phone addiction. Either way, it’s a win for you. But yeah, it honestly pisses me off so much. Show your friends that you care about what they have to say more than your phone. It shouldn’t be that difficult.

Most of the time my partner is like this. It does get frustrating and to add salt in the wound, she's the one who gets angry when I call her out about this.

Meanwhile, this same friend will be the one to whip their hear around, almost shouting "Where are they?", when you tell them to subtly turn and look at the cute person that you spotted.

This is my friend that I game with. It's so annoying he just goes radio silent in the middle of a conversation then when I call him on it gets mad at me and says something about oh I can't pay 100% attention to you I have other things going on. Like bro first of all we were literally mid conversation and second, it's just common courtesy when talking to someone to let them know if you need a minute. Not just ignore them and then get mad at them when that annoys them.

People like that are not worth being around or having in your life. Leave them to be with their phone. I love how this guy accurately portrays toxic people.

My mum does this! Which I find ironic because really… it should be me glued to my phone, I grew up with phones (granted iPhones weren’t a thing till I was about 14, or at least I didn’t have one till then) But whenever I go and visit, I’m always the one with my phone on the coffee table face down, and she’s the one who’s asking me to repeat myself for the 3rd time because she keeps getting distracted by her phone!! I pointed this out to her and she was in utter denial and even tried to tell me I had been looking at my phone more then her.. my phone literally didn’t leave the coffee table 😂😂😂
