A Mikvah, is a Jewish ritual bat that is used for purification. Jewish women go to the Mikvah once a month, converts go to the Mikvah upon converting to Judaism, many Jewish people go to the Mikvah before the high holidays to purify themselves before Rosh Hashanah and Yom Kippur. but the Mikvah is also used to purify our glasses, pots, pans and eating utensils.

My stepmother and cousins are Jewish, ethnically, not converted. But they never ate kosher in front of me. I've been a guest at observed dinners, but I've never seen how dinnerware or glassware is prepared. I don't think I could do that. I'm not trying to be rude. I know this sounds like it. I don't understand how a lobster is nasty, but that's not.
